This week, while we celebrate that magnificent day when our founding fathers declared our nation free from the tyranny of Great Britain & her citizens - and all men - to be endowed with God-given unalienable rights, I give you 3 videos to ponder.

The first is a reading of the original Declaration of Independence. If you haven't read it or listened to it recently, you should. It is the philosophical foundation upon which our rights as a free people rests and is as vital today as the day it was written 237 years ago

The second is the latest in Bill Whittle's Afterburner series, wherein he declares that the only credible threat to our independence comes from our own complacency & self-imposed dependency: Dependence Day

And finally, a new declaration, drawing the parallels between the abuses the colonists faced under the British tyrants, and those from the current regime & its wanton disregard for our laws and ever growing intrusions into our lives. While I don't agree with everything in this video, the point is made
