This week, in an act of Pen Envy, the House passed the "Enforce The Law Act", to try & reign in The One's  Imperial Presidency. You must see Trey Gowdy's stirring appeal to stand up against executive overreach by any president. Opposing it was the dumbest person in Congress, Sheila Jackson Lee, asserting that forcing the president to follow the Constitution is unconstitutional & "How well it is, that we’ve lasted some 400 years operating under the Constitution." I guess it's too much to expect a Yale Political Science major to know that the Constitution is 227 years old - or maybe she was just using Common Core math.

Speaking of that pen, this week the administration used it to quietly excuse everyone from the Obamacare individual mandate. Then, the same snake oil salesman who last year promised we'd be able to purchase health insurance "for less than your phone bill", said we should cancel our cell phone contract to pay for it. So now the guy who ran up $9T in debt in 5 years is lecturing us on balancing budgets!

In Florida, despite being outspent 4-1, Rep David Jolly sank Dem Alex Sink in a special election billed as a bellwether race for November. In spite of an NBC poll showing voters plan to use the midterms to punish Obama, Sink's campaign embraced Obamacare, a strategy dingbat Pelosi insists all Dems will do this fall. Delusional Debbie Blabbermouth-Schultz immediately tried to spin this surprise upset victory as GOP weakness. Got to love it!

Democrat Senators held a "Climate Change talk-a-thon" Monday night because we all know when you lose your job, your savings, your home, your healthcare, the one thing that keeps you up at night is the changing weather. Accordingly, nobody paid attention - not even the lap dog media.

Also unreported by the Enemedia this week, Gazan Palestinians launched over 60 rockets into southern Israel this week, after which Prime Minister Netanyahu promised a "forceful response." These missiles show what to expect from a Palestinian State in Practice.
