   The GOP sitcom just got serious. The unexpected death of SCOTUS Justice Antonin Scalia - one of the greatest our country has ever known - is a tragic loss. Our nation is balancing on a slender thread of Liberty. Of course the miscreants on the Left are treating his death like a holiday and, owing to an absolutely unavoidable scheduling conflict involving a critical tee time, Obama has decided to skip the funeral. To hell with him. If I were one of Antonin Scalia's children, I wouldn't want that bastard at my dad's funeral, anyway.
   Barry, of course, is
jumping at the chance to fill Scalia's giant shoes with another radical Marxist, or at a minimum make political hay out of it.  McConnell & his surrender monkeys in the Senate initially vowed to block Obama's lame-duck SCOTUS appointment, but are already showing signs of backing down. The Enemedia and Obama's lackeys like Schumer - who routinely blocked GOP nominees in the past - now say they regret their filibusters which should not be used by the GOP as an excuse to shirk "their duty" to confirm Obama's choice. But the Constitution does not require the Senate to vote on a nomination. The GOP must prevent Obama from replacing Scalia - after all, saying no to Obama is why America elected Republicans in the first place.
   I was fortunate enough to experience the man's wit and brilliance first hand at
a meeting of the Federalist Society in 2012. He was a giant who revered the Constitution and felt that only by interpreting it in it's original intent and meaning could we remain a free nation operating under the rule of law.
   I know that many of you reading this support Trump, but I do not. Up to this point, I'd have argued that you shouldn't fall for his "
yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth" antics. That you should see his impressive Flip-Flop-Flip-Flop-Flip-Flop-Flip on Planned Parenthood and that he was for invading Iraq before he was against it, as evidence that he has no core principles. That the fact that Trump would blame W for 9/11 while siphoning off small business recovery money for his own YUGE company shows that his whole career has been about  buying political influence & gaming the system for his own benefit. And that he would threaten to sue Cruz over ads featuring actual video of Trump himself describing his own Liberal positions indicates how he always reacts when challenged. I'd urge you not to view his blustering, constant interruptions, childish faces & petty put-downs as a sign of strength, but to be the actions of a bloviating, loudmouthed, spoiled rich kid who has never been told no, and aims to govern like one.
   But the passing of Scalia has raised the stakes.
We are one justice away from a Supreme Court that could strike down every liberty we hold dear - from freedom speech & religion to the right to bear arms and much more. Ask yourself if you really think Trump has the moral compass to nominate the kinds of judges that will protect our inalienable rights. If we do not elect a solid Constitutional Conservative in November, any hope of maintaining a SCOTUS that upholds America's founding principles will be lost.
