    This week, as expected, Trump won big in NY, mostly due to the reality of, and campaigning on, Cruz's comments about "New York Values." Those of us who live in the People's Republic of NY are well aware of the former, but I've got a serious question for any Trump fans, about the latter. To put it in context, a little story of one of my proudest moments as a Tea Party activist.
    In 2010, I was videotaping a debate for a friend running for the NYS Assembly, when Cong. Steve Israel, (at the time head of the DCCC), walked in and gave his pat speech, saying, "people on the Left say I'm too far right. People on the Right think I'm too far Left. So that makes me a moderate."I promptly asked him which of Obama's Left-wing policies, from the stimulus, to Obamacare, Cap & Trade, etc., he'd voted against that he could claim to be a moderate.
    He started dancing & Bullshitting about how "he hears the claims that he votes with Pelosi 95% of the time, but most of those are Pro Forma votes, etc.," and quickly shifted to how "he was proud of the votes he's made for the veterans", blah, blah, blah. On his way out, I jumped right in his face, pointed my finger in his chest and yelled, "How dare you politic on the backs of our veterans! We owe these brave men & women a solemn debt that we can never repay, so you do everything you can for them and shut the hell up about it. How dare you!" I got a cheer from those in the crowd around me & he ran out of there with his tail between his legs, visibly shaken.
    So now the questions for Trump fans. Regardless of what you may think of Cruz, I doubt you'd say he was a stupid man & isn't a shrewd politician. So do you really think he'd be dumb enough to actually attack 9/11 first responders or was Trump's turning around Cruz's use of the Donald's own words on being a NY Liberal a very effective and sleazy campaign tactic? And if the latter, how is that any different than what Steve Israel didd in the story above and anything but shameless politicking on the graves of the 9/11 victims? Still say he's not a politician?
