     I'd rather have gotten a colonoscopy than to watch the Oscars Sunday night, (here are the winners of the SnowFlake Oscars), but the colossal screw up for the best picture award, thankfully, pushed the anti-Trump vitriol off the front pages. I think we should send the guy from Price-Waterhouse who caused the flub a nice fruit basket. The delicious Schadenfreude of those butt-hurt celebrities tripping on their own puds - dare I say it - Made The Oscars Great Again!
    Seems the Loony Left needs to manufacture a Trump-related crisis every day and this week they came up with a doozy: Kellyanne Conway put her knees on an oval office sofa, thereby leaving the Left shocked with her lack of respect for the office. Mind you, these are the same idiots who didn't complain a bit when Monica Lewinsky's knees hit the carpet, and Bill Clinton's "precious bodily fluids" were shooting around that same oval office like a Red Bull-fueled paintball war. Even now, there's probably more of Bill's DNA in that room than there is in Chelsea.
   President Trump gave a speech before a Joint Session of Congress and he hit it out of the park and into the stratosphere. You can tell it was a game-winning moon shot by how grumpy the Democrats looked through the whole thing. Even commie Van Jones had to admit it. Trump was forceful where need be, unwavering and decisive. He showed more compassion than any President in decades. 
   Barack Obama tended to load up the gallery with people who benefited from Government help. With Obama's guests, the Government was the hero of the story. Not so with Trump. His guests, not Government, were the heroes. Denisha and Megan's victories were not thanks to Big Brother Government. They were thanks to the ingenuity and effort of themselves and their families. And that is the American spirit. It was inspiring and uplifting to hear their stories of triumph. But it was his tribute to fallen Navy SEAL Ryan Owens that was a moment for the history books.  As his widow Carryn Owens stood weeping, the entire room erupted in sustained, unending applause.
   Even CNN's instant poll after the speech couldn't hide the truth. Nearly 7-in-10 who watched said the President's proposed policies would move the country in the right direction and almost two-thirds said the president has the right priorities for the country. Overall, about 70% said the speech made them feel more optimistic about the direction of the country. Americans overwhelmingly support President Trump's agenda and his vision for America. And if the Democrats persist in opposing him for no other reason than to oppose him, they're going to find themselves out in the wilderness alone -- supported only by the hacks in the Fake News and the Leftists on the coasts.
   And this is exactly why the "Russian Conspiracy" is back in the news. What better way to shove all that positive commentary about Trump's speech off the front pages than to drag out the tired, ridiculous Red Scare? For Jeff Sessions to have taken part in a Russian conspiracy to elect Donald Trump, there would have to have been a Russian conspiracy to elect Donald Trump. Not only is there no evidence of this, but the whole premise makes no sense. Whereas Trump was simply free-associating about the possibility of a better relationship with the Kremlin while on the stump, Hillary quietly approved the sale of 20% of America's uranium reserves to the Russians. Moreover, with her bungled Russian "reset" program as Secretary of State, Hillary had already clearly demonstrated to Putin that, if elected, she would be far easier to manipulate than the wildcard Trump. The "Russian Conspiracy" is nonsense of a high order...and the last resort of a failing and flailing political party.
