   Every now and The Donald does something that makes me a believer in that whole 4-D chess thing again and Tuesday's wall showdown with Schmucky and Granny McMumblemouth was one of them. Thomas Lifson at American Thinker pointed out that Trump led Chuck and Nan into three traps and those two idiots walked straight into them most willingly. Trap #1 was holding this meeting in front of the cameras and exposing Madam Transparency for the fraud she is when she howled that they not have the meeting out in the open. Trap #2 was PDJT taking ownership of any shutdown the fight over wall funding might cause, because the fact is that life goes on very well for nearly all Americans during "shutdowns" and we learn that there are a lot of non-essential government workers. Let's see, border protection or DC shut down? I'll take door #1, Monte. Trap #3 was getting the DemocRATS admitting on video that they don't want to secure the border and prevent illegal immigration. So thanks for playing, Chuck and Nancy. You've restored my faith in President Trump's ability to pull one over on you while the American people watched.
   Federal prosecutors in the Michael Cohen case accused President Trump of campaign finance crimes last week, and the usual suspects jumped on it like a Democrat on a taxpayer. It's pretty clear by now that the whole Russia collusion farce has collapsed, so the anti-Trump forces in DC have shifted to "Trump paid hush money and that might be a campaign finance violation. So IMPEACH!!!" Their goal has always been to destroy Trump for having the gall to defeat Hillary in 2016. They'll throw anything at the wall hoping something sticks. But let's leave aside the obvious point that if candidate Trump used his own money to get two women to sign non-disclosure agreements, it isn't a campaign finance violation. A little over a year ago we learned that members of Congress have been secretly paying hush money to those who lodge complaints against them or their staff, on our dime. So you'll excuse me if I don't want lectures from these sanctimonious hypocrites. When you're using taxpayer funds for settlement deals which you hide from the American public, you really shouldn't throw the first stone.
   Leaking James Comey pulled a Sgt. Schultz in his testimony before Congress this week, saying "I don't know," "I don't remember," and "I don't recall" a total of 255 times. How on earth did a man with such a terrible memory, and so ignorant of the operations of an agency he headed, manage to have the "stellar career" that he enjoyed (until Donald Trump fired him)?

 Three people were killed and 13 others injured when a Religion of Peace-nick shouting "Allahu Akbar" opened fire at a Christmas market in Strasbourg, France Tuesday evening. The Jihadi, who ISIS claimed as one of their own, was rendered a good terrorist by French authorities in a shootout, yesterday.
   Speaking of France, anticipating a fifth straight weekend of violent protests, Paris' police chief says armored vehicles and thousands of officers will be deployed again tomorrow. Pay attention folks, because the globalist elite is showing every American why we'd better hold on to our guns.
   Last week the Academy Awards announced that comedian Kevin Hart would be the host of this year's Oscars, but by Friday he was out. Apparently a few humorless, easily-offended prats scoured his social media and discovered he made jokes almost a decade ago that are now deemed unacceptable. This begs the question, "Who is homosexual enough to host an antiquated award show show that nobody watches celebrating incomprehensible movies, that nobody saw?"
   Mika Brzezinski (whose last name is the single most valuable word you can play in Scrabble) made an unfortunate on-air faux pas Wednesday, when she called SOS Pompeo "a wannabe dictator's butt boy." It's another case in which if you scratch a liberal, you quickly find the kind of deep-rooted intolerance and bigotry that they accuse others of having. So, are Mika and Joe Bob out of the running for hosting the Oscars? Asking for a friend.

   A judge has ordered Sloppy Daniels to pay Pres Trump nearly $300k in legal fees because she lost her bogus defamation case against him. Looks like he gets to screw her twice. That's a lot of lap dances, honey, so you better get to work.
   At least one "migrant caravan" group is reportedly willing to go home - if the U.S. pays each member $50k. Pretty much puts to rest that whole "they need political asylum" thing if they can be paid to go away. Tell them, "Sure thing. We'll mail the check to your home address!"
   As the latest UN IPCC snow job winds up in blizzard blanketed Poland, it's appropriate to remember that it was 10 years ago yesterday that Al Bore warned us that the North Pole would be completely ice free - in 5 years! Pull the other one!
